Does this mean the feeding tube goes back in? Are there any other hurdles?

The full Senate planned to consider the legislation Tuesday evening.Seems to me that the Senate really needs to expidite this.

Wow, wonderful news. I hope people care enough about me to intervene so I can stay in that wonderful state of life for as long as science can manage.

Senate panel approves bill to let Bush intervene in Schiavo case with 10-2 Vote
Reading this gave me chills... continued prayers for Terri bump.
If they can just delay it a few more hours, Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer's ward will need kidney dialysis to keep her body alive. Then the debate can be shifted legitimately from Jeb Bush's indecisive leadership to the state's responsibility for extended life care and quality of life when it requires machines to keep a person alive. Wouldn't want to move too quickly. [A man of words but not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds.]

Heaven help Terri, and give her strength.
This is wonderful news. Last nights vote and the awareness of the legislature was nothing short of miraculous. Most expounded the truth, which was something we were sure they didn't see.
My shame is in not raising my outcry to its current level months ago, at the very least.

This bill is going to pass. As one who works in an evil legislature I can tell you that the cowards never want the full body to vote on a high-profile bill when everyone is looking if the intent is to kill it. If they are going to oppose it, they kill it in committee. (They usually stack the committee so that safe incumbents can do all the dirty work.) Now that the bill has advanced past Senate Rules, there is probably no stopping it.
This is a great day. Pray everyone.

Why the heck can't they vote NOW! Every second counts.

The bill would give the governor 15 days to order a feeding tube reinserted into Terri Schiavo, one of the nation's longest and most bitter euthanasia cases. I have a question
Does this bill give the Gov up to 15 days to make a decision?
Or does it mean the tube can only be put in for an additional 15 days?

WHOA! Did I read that right? It's already been approved by the Senate??? Is this real or did AP screw up again? I thought they were still debating the wording. Can anyone confirm this? If so then why hasn't jeb ordered the tube reinserted? He should have Terri's number on speed dial ready to go the moment the vote is in. I'm not going to get my hopes up.
To: amdgmary
a federal judge in Tampa is expected to rule as early as Tuesday on a request by a state agency for the disabled that Schiavo be kept alive so it could investigate a claim that she is being abused by having the tube removed. Glad to see this proceeding apace.
Hope she has sustenance by this evening.
