Schiavo is standing guard to prevent food and water tonight even as he lets the Schindlers come in and out as they please. He is trying to be "magnanimous" in victory.

I don't know how the "no" voters can sleep tonight.....
I would imagine that the "no" legislators have no understanding of the case at all. They just think it's some "vegetable" who does not know if she is dead or alive being allowed to "die with dignity." That's all they care to know. They are like George W. Greer: their minds were made up before the facts were presented.

The jerk who doesn't want a special session to prevent her from starving. WAIT! JIM KING HAS SEEN THE LIGHT:
Legislature May Act To Save Terri Schiavo

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Senate President Jim King said Monday he would propose legislation that could save the life of a severely brain-damaged woman whose feeding tube was removed last week by her husband's order.
King, R-Jacksonville, said the measure would give Gov. Jeb Bush the authority to order that the feeding tube be reinserted to keep Terri Schiavo (pictured, left) alive.

Schiavo is standing guard to prevent food and water tonight even as he lets the Schindlers come in and out as they please. He is trying to be "magnanimous" in victory. He's become the most hated man in America. Let's hope his future is a living hell because of it. He's earned it.
We need a good picture of this guy, to remember him for what he's done.

I do not trust the news reports they were not even researching Terri's situation til the mid of last week.
I talked with both of Jim King's offices this morning, the girl here in Jacks was full of all the reasons why they couldn't do anything, and the lady in Tallahassee didn't even know he is on the board of Florida Hospice....and it's on his webpage.
CALL JIM KING!!! 850-487-5229

Terri is in my prayers. I may not always get the answer I want but I do feel encouraged here. Maybe, just maybe God will put this murderer in his place - prison or if they have capital punishment - wouldn't it be ironic if after thoroughly investigating what caused Terri's problem they confirmed her dear hubby (dh) strangled her? Tack on this and surely he earned capital punishment. Oh I ramble on with hope of ultimate justice on this earth for such an evil man. How heartless he is.
Speaking of dh has there been any reaction from him?

Amazingly. FOXNEWS, CNN, or MSNBC still haven't posted this on their websites. Even more amazingly the Fl Legislature holding a special session tonight isn't either.
Wonder how they'll spin it tomorrow; If at all.
Best, Will

There was another article stating that Jim King is proposing legislation to save Terri:
The Florida House scheduled a Monday night session to take up the issue. In the Senate, President Jim King said he will propose legislation that would give Gov. Jeb Bush the authority to order the feeding tube be reinserted to keep Terri Schiavo alive. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1004714/posts
It may very well be his response to all the angry messages he's received lately. At least it shows that calling works!
And by all means, continue to Jim King and keep him on the straight and narrow.

#150 he looks like a fat slob. He also needs to go on a diet. Maybe someone should starve him for awhile. What a jerk.

I was heartened by how many reps knew quite a bit of the history of Terri's case. Some of them seemed really appalled and humbled, eager to right a wrong that had been done, because the laws were not interpreted (by Judge Greer) the way they had intended when they wrote them. Some of the others, gee, where have they been, living under a rock? The ones who were spouting the bible verses about marriage, claiming this was between a husband and wife just embarressed themselves. I am so glad someone called them on it with the adultery facts.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
Yes, you were rushed. There was no need for that. Traditional doctors no longer practice "do no harm". They look for reasons to end life - abortion, screwed up surgery, conflicting medications and general coldness to patients and those that love them. It's no longer an honorable profession. Don't ask my experience with them.

(The Vast, Right-Wing Conspiracy is truly Vast! [JohnHuang2])
I've been lurking here for months, and have prayed, cried, and e-mailed for Terri and her family. Aside from the 2000 Election, I've rarely felt so compelled and moved to my core in feeling aware of the battle between good and evil.
Thanks to all of you providing the links and updates. I'm 13 hours ahead of EST and will be praying all day here for Terri to make it through tonight and that the resolution will be passed and signed as soon as possible! I'm sure I'm not the only far flung Freeper taking this Prayer Warriors "watch" while you all get some needed sleep.
