i was trying to think of everday items(allowed on flights) which could be used to bring terrorists down, i'm beginning to get paranoid again.
i've come up with keys or a ball point pen shoved into the aggressors throat. a self defense instructor told me the base of the throat is a very vulnerable spot. (i'm 5 5 and about 125 lbs so i can't rely on mere strength).
yes, i know this is a sick post but we all should have strategies if it ever becomes necessary.

A CD broken in half could be used to slice someone on the neck. I saw it on a TV show and it looked pretty lethal.

ball point pen shoved into the aggressors throat...Remember the scene in Grosse Pointe Blank when John Cusack sticks the ballpoint pen into the bad guy's throat? It really was a funny movie.

I call it being "vigilant." ;) When I have to walk alone anywhere (like a parking lot, good ol' L.A.), and am uncomfortable, I stick my keys pointing out between my fingers so if I have to punch someone, it'll hurt.
