Snow should be interesting. Drudge's presentation doesn't thrill me-- and that's an understatement.

The best thing about Drudge's Sunday show is the music he plays when we is not talking. Pretty good stuff. Not show tunes like one might expect......

I wonder if Ann Coulter will call in when Drudge is on the show? LOL!

I like Drudge's delivery, except when he gets on a rant. He uses pauses effectively, much like a Paul Harvey, and he convey's an old-time, fireside-chat feeling that it is evening across America, and we must be vigilant and renew our struggle against our ancient enemies.

Drudge? I 'll likely listen in on that one, if possible.
However, Tony Snow is excellent as a Rush fill-in. I'll go out of my way to tune in to that. He has a matter-of-factness style that's hard to argue with.
What I really want to know is, where can I get the replays of the G. Gordon Liddy show on the Web? I love that criminal.
Anybody?

I just wish Walter Williams would do it everyday while Rush is gone...Tony Snow is all right on the Radio, but I sure do prefer Walter

I also like Drudge's hat (though of course you can't see it on radio) and the fact that he refers to himself as "Drudge." The hat reminds me of old-time broadcasters like Drew Pearson, who often wore a fedora while on the air (see "The Day the Earth Stood Still).

Bring on Bo Snerdly!
(NYers used to be able to hear him on weekends. I cannot understand why he doesn't get a turn. He's fabulous.)

I like Tony Snow. Drudge is ok, I often listen to his Sunday show. The big problem with him is that he gets obcessed with certain things. Like Cloning, a meteor hiting the earth, celebrity gossip etc.

What is James Golden doing nowadays?

It seems like all of the guest hosts have to agree to play "Rush clips" during the shows. Some of them work it in better than others, but I really don't think many of us would forget that it's Rush's show even if they didn't.
I love Walter Williams and Tony Snow. I wish they were both on more often.

What is James Golden doing nowadays? He is Rush's "Program Observer."

Wow....a Rush thread on FR that isn't about the WOD....I'm shocked.

It would be nice to get Bob Dornan back as the regular substitute.
To: rs79bm
Drudge moving up in the world.
To: Steve_Seattle
and the fact that he refers to himself as "Drudge." I had always thought Drudge was his real name.

Tony Snow has no personality.
