Have to watch out that "husband" doesn't make an unsupervised visit to her room tonight and "help the proccess" along. Plus , on another thread, someone posted that the husband "visited" Terri in her room the other day and after he left, she was agitated. Would have loved to know what exactly he said to her.
I'm glad Jeb and the others are trying to do something, I just pray its not too late.
It seems the problem is, everbody is waiting for someone else , to "do something", instead of handling the problem directly.
What's happening in Florida is not all Jebs fault. People were elected, who put these laws in. (in other words-people voted for the "officials" ,who think there is nothing wrong with starving a disabled woman to death)- Judge greer was also elected from what I understand. People support euthanasia-even starvation and dehydration. We didn't get to this point overnight. The question is: Will we turn away from this path to hell now?
I don't know what Jeb can and can't do, like I've said before. If there is something he can do, I hope and Pray he does, not because "the public is outraged" or he's worried about "re-election/image"- But because he has human compassion- can help, and sees that the deliberate starving/dehydration of Terri, at the request of her husband , is not going to lead to anything good, now, or in the future.
If he truly can not help, I would hope that he would publicly explain in detail why he can't , and answer as many questions as is neccesary to make it clear to people. I would like to see him sincerely , publicly condem this and say that he is just as disgusted as everyone else at what is happening to Terri.(now is the time to explain what pro-life is, and what it means). I would like to see him publicly ask Michael Schiavo to let Terri have her feeding tube back, and let her go home to her parents. Offer him immunity , grant him a divorce where he gets everything- ask Schiavo to let Terri go home in the name of decency, but, I know that's alot to ask, I'm sure Felos would try to sue or something.
Anyway, then he (Jeb) could explain what needs to be changed in the laws to prevent this from happening again. But if he's not sincere and comes off as a "politician trying to save his own self" it won't work. People will see through it.
I don't know if Jeb has the sincerety of his brother President Bush. That's what I like about GWB. You may not agree with him about something, but you know that he is sincere about what he's saying. He doesn't come off as a "politician".
Pray for Terri-she needs a miracle.
