Sori is one of those guys whose strengths are huge, and whose weaknesses are equally huge. His strengths are speed, power, and a decent arm. Weaknesses -- poor plate discipline, spotty fielding. I'd bet that he's doing better at this point in his career than Barry Bonds did at the same point. If he could learn how to read pitches better over the next season or two, he could walk (literally) to the hall of fame.

Perhaps there are Freepers in the Oak/SF Bay area that could address any such Bonds/Soriano similarities.
Soriano MUST learn patience soon, or else Herr Steinbrenner will be shipping him out despite his gaudy regular season numbers.
