The Curse of the Sardino is in effect.
In their long history, the Yankees have never beaten any team named after a fish in a World Series game.
To: So Cal Rocket
Hats off to Southern Cal, who trounced my Irish by an unspeakable score.

Petitte (sic) is so overrated. You mean the first pitcher to have at least 12 wins in each of his first nine seasons since 1926?

LOL! This guy is as money as money can get in the playoffs.I don't mean career, I mean this year. He's been saved by superior Yankee offense in a lot of situations.

These Marlin hitters just wear out the pitchers. Pettite will throw 30 pitches in this inning plus about 5 throws to 1B. How much do the throws to 1st take out of a pitcher's arm? (I wouldn't think it would be as much as a pitch but I really don't know.)

I think Tennessee beat the 28 to 7

That Randy Moss lateral today was the most amazing thing I've seen on a football field in at least ten years, maybe ever.
Anyone who hasn't seen it must tune in and get a peek. Extraordinary!

The title is wrong... the score is still 0-0
To: Petronski
So is the score on the thread title (1-0) the game score or the series score?

The guys at Rotowire are realy ripping Bernie William's defense. They say he should be on the bench in Florida with Matsui in CF and Johnson in LF and Giambi at 1B. They say he no range.

That's not the score, it's supposed to be the series results so far. But multiple requests have yet to get it fixed.
