"Each time he wins, and each time the Yanks have won the previous playoff game, he loses!"What you said!;-)
"He's easier on the eyes, but that's about it."
Really?? To me Boone looks like a camel.

I find it hard to believe Bonds was flailing away at pitches two-feet outside at any time in his career. I was actually referring to raw numbers -- home runs, steals, batting average. Not plate discipline, which, as I mentioned, is one of Sori's big weaknesses.

I missed that Soriano home run.
Was it a slow pitch toss, or did Soriano hit off a tee on the fifth try?

Hey! I was a skankee fan from 1960 (that is my earliest memory of them) until October of 2001 when my beloved D-Backs met and BEAT THEIR ASSES! You have not topped the D-Backs in head to head match-up. We own you!

LOL -- good guess. It was on a 45 MPH hanging curve ball Helen Keller could have clocked.

WHYare we always subjected to shots of Derek Jeter, no matter WHAT happens on the field?? He didn't have a damn thing to do with that home run, but for some reason we have to see his reaction. Ridiculous. Its to appease the masses. Keep their attention away from the fact how f*cked up the league has allowed the situation to get.
To: F16Fighter
He went his limit in Game 7 vs. the Sox, that's for sure.

A "throw-away" game for the Marlins, like Game 5 of the NLCS was for the Cubs (or so they thought)....
To: NYCVirago
Somebody has to help Soriano. Maybe it's only a matter of glasses.

When does Kobe Bryant come up to bat?

Okay. There is the big star of the night. Jason Patrick. .......Who?

A "throw-away" game for the Marlins, like Game 5 of the NLCS was for the Cubs (or so they thought).... Every game is a throw away with this team. Who on this staff is going to realistically beat the Yankees? Blister boy Beckett? LOL.
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
In retrospect, Soriano's "numbers" appear now to be a mirage.

"Okay. There is the big star of the night. Jason Patrick. .......Who?"Oooh...oooh...Didn't he date Julia Roberts??

When does Kobe Bryant come up to bat? As soon as he gets out of prison I guess.
The only org worse than MLB has to be the NBA. Havent watched a probasketball game in years.

Somebody has to help Soriano. Maybe it's only a matter of glasses. We need a Skinner box for batters like Sori. When he lays off a bad pitch, play a tape of the crowd cheering. When he flails away at a bad pitch, a shock with a cattle prod. When he takes a fat pitch down the middle AFTER two straight flails, have Don Mattingly bitch-slap him for a full minute.
