I like Alan Colmes. Don't agree with him 99% of the time but I still like him. He's like a goofy looking puppy to me.

I know - it appears the gateway can only be opened by adulation to the host. This is the case on all shows.

I was talking about the road show he did in Dallas - not just the normal talk show. The road show is the talk show but also has a studio audience that has to be entertained.

I was impressed with Sean. He gracefully handles the pressure and the absolute constant demands on him - either radio duties, guests, autographs, equipment problems, visitors, coordination of phone connections. This man is not stupid in the least. He may not delve deeply into issues and analyze as Rush does - but Sean has a place.

Again I feel his talent is his personality, his strength is pounding the message into the minds of listeners - young especially, keeping the message simple and with moral clarity. There is a great need for talk show hosts that can do this. Leave the indepth analysis to others - Sean is the messenger to the public confronting the liberals and countering the lies.

Some may not like his persona - but I really do.

I am not really much a Hannity fan, he is too partisan for my taste.

Personally, I always wished that MSNBC had done a Alan Keyes and Phil Donahue show, that would have had fireworks all the time.

Me too. Alan Keyes and any liberal would work for me.

"Colmes is rare for a liberal - he actually has integrity, and sometimes he even makes sense.'

While I disagree with much of what Alan Colmes says, I do believe he is a decent fellow, and not typical of the average liberal (who is mean-spirited, bigoted, hypocritical, and unstable).

LOL...perhaps I just need more coffee this AM, but this just struck me as funny. Counting words rather than substance! LOL

Especially since Fox is careful to give both sides equal time in minutes, and FAIR knows that.

I imagine that the folks at FAIR studied footage six ways to Sunday to try to find some way to measure that would "prove" their point.

Alan was (and will be) talking about this more tonite on his radio program. He is really dismayed at the level of vitriol coming from his own side over his new book. While I'm sure many consider Alan the token liberal on Fox, he does have some very liberal views and is no different from what Tucker Carlson is over at CNN. Yet I don't hear Conservatives threatening the life of Carlson.

Alan's problem is that he at least has some intellectual honesty, unlike his bretheren...and he doesn't scream to get his point across. I can't say I feel sorry for him, however, since he's seen this coming since Franken went after him at the WH Correspondants dinner and did nothing. Alan is learning the hard way what it is like to be on the other side of liberal attacks. What scares me is that Alan is a real liberal and he is still not liberal enough for the kooks on his side of the aisle. If they hate him this much, just imagine how much they must hate us.
