I'm for gun elimination. ... I'm for taking away guns from anyone who can't prove a real need. The author can't seem to make up his mind. Typical. Wants to permit some "elite" part of society to be armed. That is not the "elimination" of guns.

Is there some way to find out if the author of this piece is an officer of or donates money to the Democratic Party?

Self defence is a legitimate need. But of course only the police, military and any other part of the government that can be easily controlled need them for legitimate reasons.

A bumper sticker I saw yesterday.

And the armed body guards employed by the anti-2nd Amendment Limousine Liberals.

Actually, I'm not for gun control. I'm for gun elimination Except for the Baltimore Sun's armed guards, of course....

I'm for taking away guns from anyone who can't prove a real need. I think these a$$wipes seriously need to be jumped all over when they say things like this...because think about it, would they actually accept that protection of life, for example, constitutes a 'real need'? Probably not.
So what would that tell you about people who demand that people demonstrate a need, to them, that they find satisfactory?
And who gave them the right to demand that people show a need to their satisfaction anyway?
To: R. Scott
How could I forget them. You know all those people who want to take guns away from lawful citizens are so much more moral then us that they deserve to have guns to protect themselves. After all, if they died who would guide us to our workers/socialist utopia?
