The moment she is declared dead, the police should step in and arrest the "husband" for murder, or at least someone should take all the evidence down to the local station and file a report that Terri has been murdered.

The fact that he's a lame duck means he shouldn't give a rip about what may happen. Look at Clinton's Pardongate, Davis's Appointmentgate, and OH Gov. Dick Celeste's Female Prisonergate (back in 1990).

Big diff between Ds and Rs. The Ds theme is "we do what we want-bleep you." The Rs theme "is everybody OK with what I'm doing? Am I offending anyone? Will anyone not like me?"

No, polly.
I'm in California. This was a talk show on an SF station. But the woman, Pat Anderson, who was reporting is in Florida.

They're pretty much off the topic now, so I don't expect to hear anymore.

Might be a good time to hit the hot tub.
Will keep checking in.

If her condition is as you report it, Mikey must be beside himself.

Don't forget to vote in the AOL poll on Terri. I know that politicians often are pursued by these polls.

I have dreamed of Terri the past 3 nights. Needless to say, I have not been sleeping well. I hope those responsible for this travesty never have another peaceful night's sleep if she dies. Maybe that is being harsh and cold, and I suppose that God will deal with me if I am wrong for wishing such a thing on others, but this is just so horrible!

I am thankful that God is sustaining her to this point though. I pray for a miracle.

Good for her. HE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OUT. Sorry, but he is just trying to make sure she dies. I'm so glad she was able to swallow Holy Communion. I had a very vivid dream about Terri last night. In my dream, she survived, I was visiting her. She was laughing and talking. Is there something wrong with me? I want to be at the vigil soo bad

No Lovergirl, there is NOTHING wrong with you!! I believe God is at work in this girl. She may be the means of drawing MANY to Jesus!!!

D's Husband, are you there? Can you pass along the ideas in this thread to your wife via phone and have her pass them to the Schindlers? Thanks.

Regarding Terri Schiavo

Fort Lauderdale, October 15, 2003 — More than 200 years ago, the founders of America declared publicly that "All
men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness."

Thomas Jefferson, who drafted those words, also said that "The care of human life and not its destruction is the first
and only object of good government."

And yet, today, a state judge is ordering Terri Schiavo to die a horrific, inhumane, barbarous death. She has been
sentenced to an excruciatingly painful death by dehydration that, unless Governor Bush or a court intervenes, will take
10-14 days until Terri's court-imposed torture ends in what will be a tragic and, mark my words, criminal death.

It is a striking and frightening fact that in America today one state judge can be suspended from office for refusing to
remove the Ten Commandments from public display-as Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore was in August-while another,
Judge Greer, can order the death of an innocent human being without any consequence whatsoever.

Governor Jeb Bush has a duty in this case to defend life. We are told that ours is a nation of laws and not men, that
we are governed by the rule of law and not by the shifting opinions of men. Well, here, we are not governed by law, but
by lawlessness. A court order that mandates the cruel and unusual sentence of death by dehydration has violated the very
first purpose of civil government-the care and defense of life.

For too long, elected officials have stood by, have shrugged their shoulders, and taken a pass on their duty to follow
the Constitution and the laws of their state. If Governor Bush fails to intervene in this case, to exercise his authority to
defend life, he will have failed to defend Terri Schiavo's constitutional and God-given right to life.

Terri is a young woman who has the capacity to respond to her environment, recognize voices, brighten at the
presence of her mother, and most remarkably, as we learned yesterday, even bolt up in bed in response to a warning
given to her by her therapist over the phone.

All one has to do is view the videos on the Schiavo web site, www.terrisfight.org, to see that she is not in a comatose
or vegetative condition. But even if she were, that would not legitimize her court-ordered execution.

Here, as Jane Chastain described it recently, is what takes place when food and water are withdrawn. Beyond hunger
pangs, the skin, lips, and tongue crack. The nose bleeds, as mucous membranes dry out. Vomiting follows, as the
stomach lining dries out. Blood pressure drops, the heart rate rises, and physical extremities become cold, as circulation
is redirected to internal organs to maintain their function.

The door that the U.S. Supreme Court opened 30 years ago-and widened in subsequent cases-is reaping morbid
results. We have replaced a sanctity of life ethic, which is a Christian idea, with a quality of life ethic-one which places
one's right to life on a balance scale against which is weighed one's health, one's capacity to function and, in many cases,
one's age. This is a pagan concept which, if unchecked, will take a great many more victims than Terri Schiavo.

Again, I urge Governor Bush to use the powers of his office to intervene in defense of what Thomas Jefferson said is
the first duty of government-the care and defense of the inalienable right to life.

Oh, good grief. He's "looking for a way">? Well, how about simply ordering it? Be a man, dammit! Let the chips fall where they may. Let the lawyers argue it out after you stop her from being killed!

Don Joe, I hope you are emailing Bush with all these comments. I have emailed him so many times that MY box is filling up with those " autoresponds"!!!!!!

True, except that they don't include their own base in the general "anyone" population.

They'll pander to those who'll never vote for 'em, while they screw their supporters six ways to sunday.

They're pretty smug with that "well who are they gonna vote for anyway" crap when questioned about offending their constituents. Traditionally, this behavior has been pretty much restricted to gun control and abortion, but I guess we can now add euthanasia to the list of "where they gonna go?" issues.

My answer is "nowhere". That's where I'll go -- on election day.

I've had my fill of getting the bum's rush from "my" party.

It's not true.. He tried to give her communion but he wasn't allowed. She is still being dehydrated and starved to death by Jeb. This while he stumps for his brother.

"Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didn't want "anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress".

And killing her won't cause her distress?? Lying SOB! I think that statement needs correcting.

"Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didn't want "anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress to live any longer than absolutely necessary".

Remember when Janet Reno called out her SWAT Teams to kidnap Elian Gonzalez to send him back to papa Castro?

Well, why can't John Ashcroft do the same? And kidnap Terri, and send her to Uncle Sam for protection from murder. Maybe, like Elian, she can get the care and treatment she needs at the Wye Estate, or whatever they called the place that Elian spent several months on happy juice.

I am so furious that this government sanctioned murder of an innocent woman is happening under President Bush and Governor Bush's watch.

Lady Liberty surely is weeping. Give me your tired, your hungry, your poor, your persecuted. My eye. Jeey Boykin, persecuted. Elian Gonzalez sent to Castro's hellhole. Terri Schiavo condemned to death by a black robed despotic judge.

God help us, Terri's 81 year old Catholic priest who came today to give her her Last Rites and Holy Communion was threated with arrest if he dared give her the Holy Eucharist.

God help us a valient, courageous warrior and hero is scorned by leftists, democrats, and NY Times, LA Times, and WASH Post who are doing the groundwork enabling the power of OBL, Saddam and fanatical extremist Muslim terrorist scum, for his strong beliefs and religious convictions that made him the brave man he is.

God help us, leftists, democrats sent Elian to a communist waste land.

When and where will it stop? It is up to us to stand and rise up in defense of our religious faith before we see another 1939 Nazi Germany.
