Listen in on Oprah's one-on-one conversation with our cool, collected national security advisor. Hear about her downtime (piano, football, shopping) and uptime (faith, unity, power)and why the terrorists have already lost.
"In all my years of interviewing, I have never been prouder to spell my name w-o-m-a-n than after spending time with Condoleezza Rice." Oprah

"In all my years of interviewing, I have never been prouder to spell my name w-o-m-a-n than after spending time with Condoleezza Rice." Oprah Holy Moses! It does'nt get much better than that.
Just imagine Condi vs. Hitlery in 2008. Can you say "Total rat destruction"?

I don't understand Oprah. One minute she's kissing the President and the next she's dissing him.
One minute she says Condi Rice has embarrassed her race, and the next she says she's proud of her!

I saw her on Oprah show today. She did a great job.
Oprah mentioned that Condi would be on her Oxygen network show at 7:00 tonight and answer questions.
I really don't know anything about that show. It sounded as if the afternoon show was going to keep taping with audience participation.
Now if I could only figure out how to unblock a channel on my tv. Who knew I'd be interested in Oxygen?

I'll never understand Oprah. One minute she's kissing the President and the next she's dissing him. One minute she says Condi Rice has embarrassed her race, and the next she says she's proud of her!Easy to understand. It's all about Oprah: "In all my years of interviewing, I have never been prouder to spell my name w-o-m-a-n than after spending time with Condoleezza Rice." Oprah
It's all about Oprah.
Listen to or read the inteview. She should want to be a man after hearing all about President Bush. The whole interview depended on Condi to produce meaningful talk, which is easy for her.
Oprah: Um hm.

Condi will probably never run for any public office. She has a skeleton in her closet: she's dating a man who is technically married, though he's been separated from his wife for a number of years. How long do you think it would take for the Democraps to jump on that? She is too vulnerable on ethical grounds. And I'm sure she doesn't want her private life destroyed, as it would be by the scrutiny a president receives. Without a spouse or children, it would be horribly lonely to be president.

I agree; and it makes Oprah not credible.

"Condi will probably never run for any public office."
Thats a damn shame because I think she is fantastic. I wish she could be president in 2008 because I believe she is qualified and she could defuse the Dems on race and womens issues.
Personal issues and the fact that she is not a politician could mar an otherwise excellent candidate.

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
[As i mentioned, the B/C & JD! lists are going to float into and out of whack over the forseeable future, while I try to cobble a rig back together for myself. My apologies for any incovenience or misunderstandings in this time frame. New signups/removals may be flaky in this time-frame as well; please bear with me, and keep in mind you may have to FReepmail me more than once for me to get it done. Thanks again!]

Hey- Life!
Condi is not fit to run this country because she beleives in "Choice". If "life" actually means something to you- know that she is not on your side...
Don't get me wrong, I admire her brains, her tact and her eloquence...I believe she holds this position as a single woman who has never felt the compulsion of protecting the life in her own womb...
To: Dutchgirl
I didnt know that Condi was pro choice.
As I said in my post "Personal issues and the fact that she is not a politician could mar an otherwise excellent candidate."

Dutchgirl, can you enlighten us with substantial facts? I, for one, would like to "better understand" her position on life.
Thanks

Interesting article on Condi
here
To: Dutchgirl
After reading this article, it strikes me as not quite forthcoming, in so far as, there seem to be several two or three word quotes attributed to Rice which do not expouse the full context of the dialog from where they came.
Perhaps, I'm a bit cautious in believing what I read, but I'd much rather hear a stance on the topic coming directly from her lips.
Thanks for the article, Dutchgirl.

I think Condi would make a great VP Candidate in 2008. Maybe she'd then be prepared for the top slot. Either way, a woman and a minority on the ticket would be a breakthrough for the Republicans and the nation as a whole.

I'd much rather hear a stance on the topic coming directly from her lips. I am sure that you are an intelligent person capable of reviewing the stance of candidates on issues that are important to you. A single Google search of "Condi choice" will turn up the candidate's position. The fact is...if faced with a decisions between Hillary! and Condi, I would vote for Condi, but not enthusiastically...not with the broken glassRrepublican determination that propelled me to the voting booth in Nov. 2000 here in Fla...
If my appearance in the booth means that one less baby dies, I am there. If my appearance in the booth means that Baby dies either way, I am much less likely to turn up...
