I see no reason to expect good news. Though I'll admit that the way the judicial system is set up an appeals court would have to go way outside accepted practice to do anything useful in this case; since the SCOFLA is famous for going way outside accepted practice, they could if they wanted to do something useful.
But I sincerely doubt they will.
