FREEPERS, I have taken a break from Terri's 24/7 Vigil to ask for your participation in the next phase of trying to save Terri's life while we wait for good news.

I have not received the Governor's Itinerary for the following week yet from myflorida.com.

We are asking Floridians and out-of-staters to freep the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee.

If you need ideas for signs, it's basically urging Governor Bush to issue an executive order to stay Terri's starvation.

At this time, the Florida Supremes are reviewing filings today by Terri's counsel.

We need northern Florida to freep Jeb Bush STAT whether he's there or not.

Finally, if anyone receives Jeb's schedule in their e-newsletter, please post it here so we can hold Terri vigils in whatever town Jeb is in.

When the embryonic stem cell issue was raging, it was a democrat ploy to place George Bush on the horns of a dilemma they thought was too complex for him to deal with. His decision to allow federal funds for research on ONLY the existing cell lines was a stroke of pure genius and did not in fact harm pro-life causes.

Jeb Bush has been placed on a similar dilemma, to act without a clear mandate from some law discovered to cover his butt yet being in the right for saving a woman's vulnerable life, or to do nothing yet complain that his hands are tied. Perhaps the solution for Jeb is to do what is right, knowing he is doing what is morally right and then deal with the fall out which allows plenty of rope for euthanasia/eugenics folks to expose themselves for the ghouls they are.

There is only onbe problem with the solution I suggest, it requires that Jeb Bush actually knows what is the right moral thing to do. For that I can only offer the parallels between Terri Schiavo in her dependency and a crib-bound infant ... even a mother who wants to put her dependent child down (read, starve that dependent child to death) cannot do so morally, though she may be able to find some corrupted soul of a judge who would allow her to do so in violation of the law.

On Sunday, October 19, 2003, as the round-the-clock vigil continues
for Terri Schindler-Schiavo, protesters have arranged a
demonstration to show their dismay at Florida's Governor Jeb Bush.

Volunteers for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation have learned
that a group of Republican demonstrators are planning to shred their
voter registration cards and officially change their party
affiliations in order to call attention to the Governor's refusal to
intervene on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

Governor Bush has received more than 130,000 petitions to intervene
on behalf of the disabled Pinellas County woman since July of this
year. He has been instructed by 7 distinguished legal experts that,
not only does he have the authority to act, but that he also has an
obligation to take action.

Mr. Bush, during his Gubernatorial race in Florida, called himself
a "Champion of the disabled".

On other fronts, Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski, who has been Terri's
spiritual provider for over 3 years, was told he may not administer
to her the sacrament of Holy Communion. Monsignor was informed by
police at Hospice that he would be arrested if he tried to
administer the Catholic woman the sacrament.

In a statement to the press, Michael Schiavo's attorney, George
Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didn't
want "anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress".

Demonstrators will be convening at Hospice Woodside at 10.00am on
Sunday. At that time, there will also be Sunday Worship in Terri's
name.

I am not exactly clear why did they think the husband try to personaly kill her?

Its obvious in the state she was in that he ignored her troubles and may even enabled it to get her out of his hair.

But the her father seems to think there was more in the way of physical attact.

Ok. Sorry. Yes she is conscious but Jeb needs to do something straightaway as she has gone without food or water since Oct. 18 at 8AM.

Jeb has the duty to uphold the laws of Florida. He has been notified that a murder is taking place in his state on his watch, to a defensless diabled person. She is being starved and dehydrated against her will, upon the false testimony that she is brain dead and wants to die. She is not either.
