FREEPERS, I have taken a break from Terri's 24/7 Vigil to ask for your participation in the next phase of trying to save Terri's life while we wait for good news.

I have not received the Governor's Itinerary for the following week yet from myflorida.com.

We are asking Floridians and out-of-staters to freep the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee.

If you need ideas for signs, it's basically urging Governor Bush to issue an executive order to stay Terri's starvation.

At this time, the Florida Supremes are reviewing filings today by Terri's counsel.

We need northern Florida to freep Jeb Bush STAT whether he's there or not.

Finally, if anyone receives Jeb's schedule in their e-newsletter, please post it here so we can hold Terri vigils in whatever town Jeb is in.

A whole bunch of people knew about the "case" of Terri Schiavo, since 1995.

I, and on behalf of the expressed wishes of her family,(as of 10/15/2003) THANK everyone who has ever said a prayer for Terri.

It is important to keep clearly in mind, that this is not a "right to die with dignity" issue.
This is a court ordered execution of a woman who has been deemed a "useless eater" by a small element of the judiciary branch in the State of Florida.

The Schindlers parents are practicing Catholics. Don't know whether Terri was practicing.

The Schindlers maintain that as person raised Catholic she would never have said to Michael what Michael claims she said about wanting to be put to death if she ever got "that way" (they were supposedly watching a movie together when she said it).

Technically, this is Michael carrying out his spouse's wishes, so it's outside the 1st amendment. Of course, the whole thing is really a ghoulish charade on his part.

WOW!. Here in Texas my wife had to sign my "living will" and "medical power of attorney" in front of 2 witnesses with NO finacial interest in my living or dying. It was a BIG deal.

I don't know if there has been a response from the church .. but as a catholic, i can tell you "assisted suicide" is a big huge no no

Hey gypsy...you sound like you're on my level of computer proficiency!
I had a devil of a time with realplayer, but I do know it is different from windows media player. You can have both in the computer but sometimes you get one, sometimes the other, when you click on a file. I've found windows mp more reliable. Gotta be online for realplayer to do its thing, and sometimes even then it refuses. Somebody smarter than I can probably tell you how to set one or the other as default, but I have no idea. :)
The other night I tried installing realoneplayer, their updated version. Beware! It took hours. It uninstalled the old one, then refused to open anything, then I uninstalled it and reinstalled the old one and now it doesn't work either. So if you DO get realplayer to work, don't try to fix it ever again. Life's too short.

I don't think he's had a day job for some time, or hasn't had to worry about working too hard for a while, because:
- Some of the lawsuit money was awarded strictly to him (350K I think)
- He has been accused of stalking one or more of the honeys he went out with between Terri and his ultimate shack-up "fiancee."

The mp3 recording that has been posted elsewhere on FR threads supports the second contention.

Great point. Michael said that's what he would do after the litigation about Terri's collapse was settled. Nothing of the kind occurred of course.
