Rush Hosts for Next Week
www.allaccess.com

Posted on 10/16/2003 5:45:00 PM PDT by joesbucks

And for anybody keeping score, after KFBK-A/SACRAMENTO host TOM SULLIVAN served as RUSH's initial fill-in, KOGO-A/SAN DIEGO's ROGER HEDGECOCK, like SULLIVAN a frequent RUSH fill-in, took his place behind the "golden EIB mic" on WEDNESDAY. Regular RUSH surrogate WALTER WILLIAMS will do FRIDAY's edition, and WISN-A/MILWAUKEE's MARK BELLING is on tap to fill in for early next week, followed by "FOX NEWS SUNDAY"'s TONY SNOW on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY and MATT DRUDGHE on FRIDAY.

And contrary to rumor here earlier, Joan Rivers will only be on in Providence........Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE does an about-face and will resume carrying the RUSH LIMBAUGH fill-in show live on FRIDAY (10/17). The station had expanded CHIP FRANKLIN and RON SMITH's shows to fill the time slot and relegated the fill-in shows to tape delay at night. PREMIERE announced late THURSDAY that the station will now run the fill-ins after all. Meanwhile, in PROVIDENCE, CITADEL's WPRO-A is bringing in JOAN RIVERS to do a daily local show in RUSH's slot for the duration. RIVERS formerly worked with WPRO's DAVID BERNSTEIN at WOR-A/NEW YORK and formerly was syndicated by WOR RADIO NETWORKS.

WISN-A/MILWAUKEE's MARK BELLING is on tap to fill in for early next week,

Mark is a good fill-in for Rush. He's a bit more mellow when he's behind the EIB microphone, than when he's doing his show in Milwaukee.

Gee - How can anybody fill in for the great one? Rush is irrelevant.....He has become all he hates(on the air). I stopped listening humm about the time he started doing illegal drugs. Do you think there is a connection?

Why not spend the time you give to Rush doing something good in your home community. Most are desperate for good volunteers.

Ok Blaze away - but remember I am bullet proof.

Takes a long time to build a loyal listenership, and in no time that outfit in Baltimore is taking a dump on their customers....

I'd like to urge everyone to write, phone or email your local Rush radion station and let them know you're still listening.

Just in case they're getting antsy and afraid and are thinking of dropping the show.

Figures. They can't even spell....

http://www.wbal.com/

During Rush Limbaugh's absense, WBAL Radio will air extended editions of the Chip Franklin Show (9AM - 1:30PM) and the Ron Smith Show (1:30PM - 6PM). WBAL Radio will broadcast the Rush Limbaugh show again as soon as Rush returns to the mic.

The Rush Limbaugh Show can be heard overnight on WBAL (1AM -4AM), and on the Internet at the following websites."

My suggestions for sitting in for Rush seem to be gaining a little momentum.

I would like to hear from a variety of conseravatie talk show hosts, instead of the dreary line-up we had this week.

The hosts who are only heard in a limited region should jump at the chance to preside at the EIB microphone nationally.
