Weaver and Hitchcock are absolutely
not "quality spare parts." They both suck, in fact. But you're right, the payroll buys some serious depth.

They may not seem like quality players, but either Weaver or Hitchcock would be considered the third starter on most teams. The fact that they were the #6 and #7 starters on this Yankee team says a lot.
