Amazing, isn't it? A couple of days ago this could have been Cubs v. Sox. Turned out to be Marlins v. Yankees. I'll see baseball again next year.
Yeah a big loser in all of this is Fox, A Sox/Cubs series would have set all time viewing records now a Skankee/Marlins series will be towards the bottom.
Tomorrow's Boston Globe take: "Cubs could point to one idiot fan to blame their own failings on - but the Red Sox aren't so lucky. Their boneheaded fan sat in the most responsible seat of the whole shebang."
