Bluffing? Not at all. The LP fooled a lot of folks in this area a few years back...and we paid the price. It's not just me, a whole lot of people intend to insure the LP doesn't make a come back for many years to come.
To: tpaine
Of course...I want to make sure everyone possible sees how the LP has attempted to use Limbaugh's problem for their own political goals.
Right on!
To: kidd
Here is the entire post, unedited.
To: kidd
Rush did not specify the drug or how many were taken.
You are mistaken. They are the drugs I described. He said he was addicted to "pain medication". He said he was addicted. The amount I described was "enough to cause addiction".
What is your source for which drug and how many he took?
Again, Rush Limbaugh.

All those years of having someone tell you when to eat, sleep and move your bowels have enamored you to a mommy state.

ok - here's all of post 146:
k2blader:Oh, okay, so you still don't have the evidence.
Protagoras: Amazingly obtuse. Hooked on a false proposition as much as Rush is hooked on hillbilly heroin. You need to detox on your escape from reality.
You really think Rush got all his drugs that he is hooked on from a licienced pharmacy? C'mon, tell the truth. No one can be that naive.
The full quote. No lies. You've stated that Rush is hooked on hillbilly heroin. Please provide a source where Rush himself has stated this.

Hillbilly herion as I used it refers to "pain medication". It is a common term used for such drugs used in an illegal manner.

You wouldn't recognize a direct hit if it contacted your posterior at a high rate of speed.

Bullsh*t. Drug use is not a victimless crime, and many of the victims are the neglected children of drug users. Do you suppose they are likely to grow up to be good citizens?
However, children are not the only victims - Society as a whole is a victim, since we support an entire segment of society for who drug use is a primary vocation, and decriminalizing drugs will only exacerbate the problem.

They are the drugs I described The drugs that you described is hillbilly heroin.
We can clear this up easily.
Please state: "I do not know that Rush is addicted to hillbilly heroin. And because I don't know the drug that he is addicted to or how much he consumed, I cannot fairly imply how he obtained the drug that he is addicted to."
"Further more, I apologize to k2blader, kidd and other Freepers that I've insulted while attempting to make this implication"
If you can state this, I'll drop it.

You have to love this latest effort by the LP. Over on another thread a poster made some very even handed and open hearted comments about how their son overcame an addiction.
They were all over that person attacking them, trying to score points off their family tragedy. This is their idea of winning the hearts and minds of the undecided.

You're merely reiterating the "It's for the Children" argument, not negating it. Please: this is a conservative forum. "Society as a whole is a victim" does not belong on a conservative Web site as a validation for anything.

Wave those pom-poms kiddo..
Everyone here knows that Rush's only 'sin' was hypocrisy.
And after he 'dries out'; -- we will all wish him well..
Unless he continues to advocate this unconstitutional 'war'..

Hillbilly herion as I used it refers to "pain medication". It is a common term used for such drugs used in an illegal manner. Hillbilly heroin is a street name for OxyContinin.
"Pain Medication" can include OxyContinin, Vallium, Vicodin, Codeine, etc.
Rush is being investigated by the authorities. His role in this investigation has not been made known. As of yet, there are no charges against him. There is no credible evidence (as of this moment) that he used a substance illegally. Unless you base your argument on the non-credible National Enquirer.
Or unless you have another source that you could share...
