Yes, there are legal means of entering the U.S., but if you and your children are starving, would you steal a loaf of bread? People in dire circumstances do things they normally wouldn't. These people paid for their actions with their lives, but how many of our forefathers would have taken the same risks?
Maybe you're right though, maybe the Pilgrims should just have stayed home in Merry old England. Afterall, many of them died trying to find a better life.

They're starving in Mexico, and that's why they illegally enter the U.S.? This is the first I've heard of it.

Yes, many in fact more than one-half died of starvation in the cruel winters of the Northeast.
The difference here is that none of the survivors blamed England for "allowing" their deaths.

Its called assumption of risk. If you do something dangerous and get killed, it is nobody's fault but your own, no matter what idiot lawyers and "bleeding heart" traitors say. There is no obligation to help these people. They have no right to be here. It is in the interestes of our own national security to STOP these people. Get it?

Afterall, many of them died trying to find a better life. Our Founding Fathers and American Patriots were willing to die to establish a just government. Why on earth don't the Mexican people who have a very wealthy country, very rich in natural resources overthrow their corrupt leaders and put something like the US Constitution into place? Why is dying for freedom only mean crossing the border to get to the US? Maybe the answer really is that welfare check they seek.

Oh, spare me. They are not starving in Mexico. I've seen photos of many border jumpers and they look pretty damn healthy to me.

Yes, there are legal means of entering the U.S., but if you and your children are starving, would you steal a loaf of bread? Thank god starvation is not a problem in Mexico, or we would have billions instead of millions of criminals invading the country.

I suggest you read the daily thread and many links are provided so you can get the entire scope of this problem.
