You need to do a referesher course on DNR orders, friend. They are all the same and state only one thing. Do Not Rescucitate.
The issue which comes into play here is the fact that there are hundreds of ways to consider "rescucitate" in the order. Most non-medical people are thinking of the code they saw on ER watching tv, and you can be sure a person with a DNR is not going to be coded.
After that, though, it is highly subjective per the doc doing the answering of questions at the time, usually on the phone at night, perhaps on-call for his buddy and definitely tired and facing a long day and early morning.

There are not hundreds. Look at the link strela provided. in the Texas DNR order, there are maybe five or six.
