PS. If it is alright for a governor to overturn the death sentences of convicted murderers, why can't the death sentence of an innocent be overturned?

Or is that only for those who are more equal than others The declaration of independence was a revolutinary document and doesnt carry any weight of law. The constitution is the basis of our laws.
BTW, God's law doesnt trump state law.
