OHHHHH, so it is the definition of what "under God" that we may see differently. I only saw that as saying that God is over the United States, not that we were his favorites or anything.
Oh, well better tell that to all the kids who are forced to recite it, they think it does. And it's not a bad assuption that it means that. They also take a lot of the other BS in it as the absolute truth.
Face it, it's a political propaganda piece. It has nothing whatsoever to do with God. In fact, his name being attached to it is probably sinful. Used to legitimize the other ideas there.
