Hi there.
Whether or not the alleged victem is promiscuous is NOT the point. Even if she is, she still should not be raped. That's the sort of stuff the Taliban goes in for.
We do not know enough yet, however I agree that there IS considerable doubt about the veracity of the accuser . If nothing else she loses points for Smarts and Class.
I also agree that E.D. is shrill on this. Tia

It is EXACTLY the point. This is evidence that someone else had sex with her making her bleed at the same time she is alleging that Kobe raped her. This says that 1)she is very loose and 2)the injuries that Kobe alleging bestowed upon her may have been a result of multiple sex partners suring a 2 day period. This is very very damaging evidence.

Further, even the fact she did have other sex must be directly connected to her injuries. How do they explain kobe having sex with her already damaged bottom without concern? How did he not notice her bruised neck? How did blood of hers get on kobebean? I will be waiting to see if they can logically discount the rape accusations, not further smear the victim without showing the other-sex did the damage to her.

Even if she is, she still should not be raped. That isn't the point. The point is that if she claims that Kobe raped her and uses physical evidence to prove her case, then the defense is going to try to refute the physical evidence. Offering up other ways that she may have been injured in the way that she was is one way to refute the prosecutions case.

And, anyone found making false claims of rape, possibly putting innocent men in jail for up to a lifetime, should get the same sentence that they were trying to inflict on the innocent man. If the charges are false, Kobe's name/reputation (which is how he earns most of his living due to endorsements) has been ruined. If the charges are false this woman should serve the same time as a rapist.
I know of women who have falsly accused men of being "abusive." It happens way too often.

Even if she is, she still should not be raped I keep hearing "she shouldnt have been raped." Well, after the vaginal "injuries" they found that may be indicative of being a slut and finding some other dudes pubes in her panties, Im thinking she wasnt raped, she just wants money. Am I right that she went home for the night and reported it in the morning? She coulda done anything in that time.
