"All I can think is that the article is so slanted that people see it as an act of mercy than what it really is---murder."
I was surprised too, but unless it is dedicated voting by the pro-euthanasia crowd, this is very disheartening.
This whole incident convinces me I should have a "living will" which will basically say keep my alive as long as possible, and whoever doesn't like that, too bad.
They are going to start killing people off here, just like they are doing in Holland.
It is very hard to think we are not in the end times, so much that is plainly wrong is held up a right. It is hard to comprehend that 70% of the American public are would-be heartless killing cravers.

I have a living will ordering no extreme measures, no life support, no resusitation.

I have no reason to fear death.

If Terri had indeed shown no sign of conciousness for 12 years and was living on heart/lung machine, pulling the plug would probably be reasonable.
I suspect what the 70% figure really shows is that 70% of the people haven't seen any videos of Terri or otherwise discovered the extent of Schiavo/Greer/Felos' deception.

(Why is it that the more "gun safety" laws are passed, the less safe my guns seem?)

Titus Livius 59 B.C.-17 A.D. "...Of late years wealth has made us greedy, and self-indulgence has brought us, through every form of sensual excess, to be, if I may put it, in love with death both individual and collective."
