Thank you very much, thank you very much!
It isn't every day, good fortune comes me way
I never thought the future would be fun for me!
And if I had a bugle, I would blow it to add a sort
o' how's your father's touch.
But since I left me bugle at home, I simply have to say
Thank you very, very, very much! Thank you very, very, very much!

He announced yesterday that he is absolutely positively not running for the senate -- other than that the article is fine.

I have always liked David Drier, every since the Republican Revolution.
He has a smooth, very casual demeanor and believe he could defeat Boxer without batting an eyelash.

He said it on Hugh's show. Reason - His position as a congressman has more influence than he would have as a senator.

By the way, David could have a multitude of pretty, smart, Republican women. Why is he a bachelor? Has he ever been married?

I would think if the White House and the Governor asked him to run, he would.

There have been rumors about Dreier and his long-time chief of staff, Brad Smith. He's passed on running for higher office before.

So do I.
To: ambrose
Because I always look at the marital status of candidates, as does every voter.
Although it may not be the deciding criteria for my vote, it helps me to understand the character of the candidate.
To: Weimdog
I think Dreier and Cox would both make excellent candidates. Dreier has the rep of being slightly less conservative than Cox, and he (Dreier) has a lot more practice slugging it out in debates with Democratic hatchet men like Art Torres -- and Dreier never lets them get him mad. He would quietly destroy Boxer.

I couldn't care less whether a candidate is married or not.
