Another thing: I don't think someone could survive 13 years of the torture Terri's endured without a very strong will to live. That Terri has survived despite the efforts to kill her before contradicts the claims she "wants to die". Good point. Is is just me, or are all of these lies infuriating? Terri repeatedly being described by the press as 'comotose', and that they are "letting her die"... (uh, no, starving someone to death is not 'letting them die', its intentionally killing them) grrrr.

Please, don't do that. There is nothing to be proud of. We should all be fighting for the founding principles of our Republic, 'Endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' Sadly, the oligarchy of black robes has cancelled that, to assume their dominion over the cattle of America, endowing to whom they will and withdrawing what was once considered inalienable from those they choose.

Thanks for the updates as I hadn't been following this story in the news. Offhand it seems to me that all speculation and conjecture about supposed robbery and dirty business deals and remarriages are pointless and counterproductive. Rather, the medical facts surrounding Terri and medical ethics alone should be the focus.
To: Cultural Jihad
I agree, CJ. I agree this is all about ethics, or lack thereof...

It's not just you. It is infuriating.

PS. I do tend to believe we are examining Michael's motives since this story has been personalized to such an extent.
But I don't fault the Schindlers for doing so, because it drives home the utter and complete gross inhumanity of this situation.

Hubby made the point that in 24 hrs the sheeple (and the media) will have moved on to Bush's trip or Iraq or (fill in the blank).
If Jeb Bush called Judge Greer's bluff, it would land this right back in the judge's lap. He also believes the judge would stay the "execution" (via feeding tube) until he decided a final solution. (Pun intended.)

On the other hand, the question of how her $750K trust fund has been spent is quite relevant to her medical situation.

What does this say about us? Someone has to do something! Isn't it interesting that the whole nation is aware of Terri's case and almost everyone is doing something to help her - E-Mailing - letters - phone calls or asking God through prayer to intervene.
If so many are behind her, supporting her, how is it possible for ONE man - Judge Greer - to kill her without a brief period of therapy and rehabilitation which she hasn't had over 10 years or so. Does he think he is God?
Incidentally, what would it take to get him removed from the bench? Some kind of national initiative? You all know what we accomplished in California getting rid of Davis, how about taking on another cause!

Greer made a passive response as well. We're asking that he take a direct role in her execution and not be allowed to distance himself from the responsibility.
Does he have the courage to stand up and say "Kill her?"

"comatose woman"
Yep- the title of the associated press article is a FLAT OUT LIE!
Should read:
Pro death (so called right-to-die) judge and lawyer win battle to cover up crime of husband by succesfully sentancing his disabled (not comatose) wife to death by starvation.
Husband is overjoyed that wife will never be able to tell how she became disabled in the first place. Lawyer has manged to collect most of money meant ,for wife's rehabilitation in leagal fee's thanks to the judge. All are celebrating their victory.
Meanwhile Terri is slowly dying of starvation and dehydration in her room all alone, her parents and relatives are banned from being near her by husband. A team of police officers is stationed at Terri's door to keep her mother and father away from their dying daughter (Aren't you proud of yourselves officers?-nothing more dangerous than greiving parents trying to visit their daughter-yep be "proud") And no-one on the whole earth can seem to figure out how to stop this....

Not only about money, it has also been about keeping her silent about what happened 13 years ago!! JMHO With his dispicable behavior over the last 13 years, and the autopsy results,I have to think that there is a good possibility that he had something to do with her "state". Apparently their marriage was not a happy one. He was reported to be quite abusive.

Bush is a governor, not a king. Should he overturn any judicial decision he disagrees with?HOW is he even supposed to overturn judicial decisions?

New petition here, dated Oct 14, and not the same petition as appears on terrisfight.org. Pro-Terri, though.
