Putting the blame squarely on the Palestinian leadership, Bush said, "The failure to create effective Palestinian security forces dedicated to fighting terror continues to cost lives. There must be an empowered prime minister who contols all Palestinian forces - reforms that continue to be blocked by Yasser Arafat."He can't have it both ways. It is his administration's policy that enables the Palestinian leadership to block the reforms because they opposed the removal of Yasser Arafat. If Arafat is responsible, the U.S. needs to kill him.

...or let the Israelis do it. The only reason they haven't so far is Prime Minister Sharon's promise to President Bush not to.

Good point! "
There must be an empowered prime minister who contols all Palestinian forces" was the very thing that the US forced down Israels throat claiming it would bring peace in the Oslo Accords. Now it is the path to peace to get rid of him and find another Arafat?!
