I surely do not like the sound of that entire last paragraph.

Communism would have been but an insignificant blip on the radar screen without its powerful Western enablers and militant Islam would have suffered the same fate. The enablers are not just the ones who ignore the dangers but also include those who actively abet our "enemines".

No, I am not accusing W. of being in bed with the Islamonazis, but "his" State Department is highly suspect and I am not sure of where all of his troop of advisers are coming from.

Well said. I do think that Bush was very naive about Islam. He made a big mistake when he believed it was a religion that should be accorded respect.
