Two of the fighters who took part in defending Bosnian Muslims from Serbs and Croats in 1995 were young Saudis named Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. They went on to play an organizing role in the Sept. 11 attacks and died on the hijacked plane that crashed into the Pentagon. Read the above and then read this: after the jihadists found themselves on the same side as the United States and other Western powers.
Then ask why the Clinton Administration's members have not been hauled before a court of law? That fact kills me. It killed me then and it kills me know.

Pay attention to this line in the article...""Iraq has become the central front in the war on terrorism."
This is not meant to necessarily defend the administration, but I assume (I know, I know!!), that has been the idea all along. Do you sit here and wait to be attacked again?? Or do you take the battle out of your back yard and into theirs where our innocent won't be harmed? Offense, instead of defense...all we've done is drawn the enemy in numbers onto our chosen battleground. It's the oldest military tactic known, exept, obviously, to the jihadist's. Now, I suppose if you ever convinced the liberals of that they would whine that we are "using" the Iraqi's. Well, they're being better used than they were and maybe one day, they'll be free. Seems like a fair trade off to me. I think our young people over in that hell hole understand they are protecting us all. Too bad some of us here don't get it.
What's Thaci up to these days, do you know? And I agree, Clinton oughta be put in stocks. I'd pay to see that.

This is not meant to necessarily defend the administration, but I assume (I know, I know!!), that has been the idea all along. I used to think so also (and I hope it is true) but we should be ambushing them not waiting for them to ambush us. Set up kill zones. Send in decoy patrols to draw fire and then call in air strikes, etc. I don't see that happening (or don't know it is happening). Also we should be amushing jihadists at the border crossing zones - again- I don't see that happening or don't know it is happening.

I'm with you. We're all the way over there, let's get it done. I suspect there's some pc compromise holding that back. It may be war, but it's STILL politics. I hate politics. Know what was good about the California/Arnold thing?? We can hold elections/campaigning in less than 90 days. THAT ought to be a law.

Hello one and all:
This certainly seems like good news. What is wrong with having the rats come to the exterminator? Instead of having to hunt for the terrorists all over the world, they are coming to us. Perhaps it was planned this way from the start, perhaps not. The result is the same so why should we not be happy? With a little luck the US armed forces might be able to wipe out an entire generation of trained terrorists.

I agree 100%. Maybe the military is setting out ambushes but we are not hearing of them. However, that does not seem likely because the "media" would soon be reporting how unfair our boys are in killing the poor, defenseless muslims.
We also have a large SOF base out in the western desert that could be used for staging ambushes and raids on "jihadis" crossing from Syria. Why not declare the border closed and that people caught there will be assumed to be armed combatants and subject to free-fire - sort of like the Rung Sat with the SEAL teams in SEA. Let the SF and Delta boys exterminate the "jihadis" before they get to the regular troops.

Thank you, I did miss this one.
This sentence struck me almost to the ground:
"Two of the fighters who took part in defending Bosnian Muslims from Serbs and Croats in 1995 were young Saudis named Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. They went on to play an organizing role in the Sept. 11 attacks and died on the hijacked plane that crashed into the Pentagon."
This should be shouted from the roof tops, you know.
Does that odd person called "hoplite" know this? I doubt that he would care, though ol' man.
What is a hoplite anyway? Some ingredient of beer/ale? Seriously?

Hoplite tried to play this fact down:
Bosnian Muslim Connection to 9/11 Confirmed! UN's Yugo Prosecutor Turns Over Bosnian Hijacker Info Posted on 05/29/2002 Pfft...
Spar's hero Pericles was trying to push the "Bosnian hijacker" theory until running afoul of the lack of evidence for said theory.
This is just another pseudo-sop for Serb nationalist losers trying to retroactively justify the crimes of their bretheren.
Let 'em have something to gum on - it keeps 'em out of serious trouble and the more outrageous their stories get, the less credibility they'll see when they try to foist their mythology onto the rest of the world.
