A Maryland legislator said yesterday she hopes an opinion issued by the state's attorney general makes it easier for illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses.

Delegate Ana S. Gutierrez, Montgomery County Democrat, said illegal aliens are being denied driver's licenses illegally and hopes an opinion written by state Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr. will persuade the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to follow the law.

Come on. Check out her last name. She would vehemently oppose driver's licenses for illegals if the illegal invasion were from Denmark and not Mexico. She is La Raza to the core.

Have to disagree with the third item on your list. Anne Arundel County was the largest MD county to go for Bush in 2000, and it went for Ehrlich almost 2-1. Heck, I remember some precincts that gave Ehrlich something like 900 votes and KKT something like 70. Its legislative delegation is nearly split. Its county council is 4-3 GOP. Relatively speaking, AA is part of the solution, not the problem.

I'm not sure what you mean. Sure, it elects Democrats that probably vote for gun control. But it's still not close to being in the camp of Montgomery, PG, and Baltimore.

You're right. Anne Arundel people are fairly normal, though not as normal as people in Calvert or St. Mary's.

Doesn't this women realise that a drivers license is the terrorist gateway to a bank account for funneling money.

It's gotten to the point that politicians aren't satisfied with just taking our money to get re-elected, they are now willing to risk our lives for it.
