President Bush will be in Fresno tomorrow! The peace freaks are planning a protest. WE NEED TO FREEP THEM BUT GOOD. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m. - "M" St. & Ventura (outside the Fresno Convention Center, South Exhibit Hall) - SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND OUR PRESIDENT!!!

Their flyer, found at www.peacefresno.org, states: PROTEST BUSH IN FRESNO . . . UPROOT BUSH! They are complaining about how President Bush is a war monger, yada yada yada. NOTE: These are the same folks who called us FReepers . . . are you ready . . . a "hate group".

Please Fresno FReepers - come out and show support for our President and for our Troops. We don't hate anybody. We just love our President and our Troops.

See you tomorrow, hopefully. Bring Old Glory and signs.

This is an excerpt from today's Fresno Bee about the plans of the protesters (the usual suspects):

The Bush advance folks aren't the only ones preparing for the visit. In Fresno, several groups are planning a protest outside the fund-raising luncheon.

Ken Hudson, secretary of Peace Fresno, said he expects about 50 members at the Convention Center: "Our theme is 'Lies,' addressing all the lies that suckered so many Americans into supporting the unprovoked attack on Iraq."

Peace Fresno members will wear "Pinocchio" noses, Hudson said, and hold signs simply reading "Lies."

Food Not Bombs, which feeds homeless people each weekend at Fresno's Roeding Park and Courthouse Park, and St. Benedict Catholic Worker will be feeding the hungry outside the $1,000- and $2,000-a-plate Bush-Cheney 2004 luncheon.

Other groups joining the protest, Hudson said, include the Chicano/Latino Democratic Caucus, Community Alliance and the Fresno County Green Party.
