Woman Guilty, Told Pit Bull to Attack
A woman found guilty of ordering her pit-bull terrier to attack another dog owner received a five-year sentence.
A Fulton County jury found 40-year-old Tanya Tucker guilty on one count of aggravated assault for the attack, which happened on October 6, 1998, at her apartment complex. She is expected to serve 18 months of her sentence in prison, according to Fulton District Attorney Paul Howard.
Police say Tucker and her dog, Mystikal, came across a neighbor -- 46-year-old Darrell O'Neal -- and his toy poodle, Woody, while walking through the northwest Atlanta complex. Tucker allegedly commanded her pit bull to attack O'Neal, causing him serious injury.
Police said O'Neal's prior complaints about Tucker's dog roaming loose throughout the complex motivated the attack.

Of course not.
I own a Pit. I doubt you or any of your pals can tell me anything about the breed that I don't already know.
Thanks for the laugh.

Come on now, a pitbull is too a dog. It's the owners' that I question. Certainly they are the weak link here.

is it so hard for pit bull haters to admit that it is the people behind these dogs that makes them act the way they do. it's so much easier to place the blame entirely on the species- because people don't want to fix the problem at hand -- all the sick people out there that take the intelligence, loyalty, and will of a pit bull and use it for evil instead of good. i say we stop breeding these people, not pit bulls. i own a pit bull, who plays well with other dogs, and greets even strangers at the door with a big wet kiss. don't be so quick to judge an entire breed based on only the bad examples.
