To be fair to Zimmer, if I had been hit in the head 45 years (or so) ago & spent 2 weeks in a coma & almost died, and had a steel plate in my head, I would probably be a little upset when someone started throwing at my player's heads
Not that I'm against throwing at a batter to back him off the plate, Ive done it myself, but you dont try to hit someone in the head intentionally

the clip i saw on tv pedro was pointing at the side of his head & saying something about "throwing at your head", one of my buddies told me pedro was saying that to zimmer when they were shouting at each other across the diamond
