I got the impression that The Dallas Morning News was gleeful to publish this article. Of course, they were rooting for their 'heroes' fleeing to NM and Okla, so we know where they stand in the political spectrum of things.

When someone in the state GOP takes a stand against redistricting when it's in the voters interest to do so AND GOES AGAINST their own party, and HINTS they might run against the incumbent GOP that has delivered, I gotta wonder about that person ...

What's up with there being a civil war in Texas?

There are 27 statewide offices in Texas, and all 27 are held by Republicans. There is only one of those Republicans who is trying to cause trouble.
