Looks like they can't re-bury the evidence fast enough. Is Political Correctness the only "science" involved in this matter? Where is the evidence that these remains and others found in the region have any relationship with existing "Native American" groups?

It is indeed tragic that the laws in this country allow a certain race of people to destroy scientific data that would tell us so much about the history of this continent.
It is not even legal to photograph the bones before they are hidden forever by ignorant racist people who wish to remain ignorant.
What if people in Europe declared that all Neanderthal skeletons must be destroyed and all photgraphs of them removed from books? What if African people declared all of the early humanoid skeletons got the same treatment?
This is an unbelievably stupid PC law that must be revoked by congress.

After consulting with the two American Indian tribes of Florida ... As I understand it, there are no indians living in Florida today who are descendants of the original inhabitants. During the 300 years that Spain owned Florida, the natives were killed, died of disease, or were exported to places like Cuba as slaves. When the US bought Florida, there were vitually no indians there. Today's Seminoles came from elsewhere, so consulting with them makes no sense at all.

"He lived in a simpler time with a simpler life, but this was no primitive," Dickel said.
Just what the hell does this Dickelhead think the word primitive means? What a moron.
"Even though it's only bones, we think of it as a life."
LOL! If these bones are still alive, just ask them what they want. This guy is an EXTREME moron!
Furthermore, the Indian tribes were stone age primitives when the Europeans got here, and that was not 4,000 years ago. With no writing in the Floriduh area prior to the eeeeeevil white man's arrival, how do we know these "living" bones are not of some totally unrelated tribe of stone age primitives? Hmmmm? These SoSueMe PC activists need to be shut down. Morons!

There's no way to prove that the remains are culturally connnected to any modern tribes. This business of returning archaic-period Indian remains to modern tribes is PC run amuck. It's like returning remains of some Proto-Celt to modern Germans or Poles.
