Or take the Mongols. They decimated the Muslims of Persia and Iraq by returning blood ten fold. Retarded Jihadists can be house broken and tamed.

The Mongols of that era were Muslims also.

This Mongol horde was not Muslim. At least according to this source---->

An invading army is marching toward Baghdad—again. The last time infidels conquered the City of Peace was in 1258, when the Mongol horde, led by Genghis Khan’s grandson Hulegu, defeated the Arab Abbasid caliphate that had ruled for more than five centuries. And if the ripple effects of that episode through Islam’s history are any guide, the latest invasion of Iraq will unleash a new cycle of hatred—unless the United States can find ways to bolster the credibility of moderate Islamic thinkers.

This one is primo when the Mongols killed off the assassin sect of Islam and kicked the leader to death. Muslim always like to operate from sanctuaries and send out assassins, only today they are called suicide bombers and terrorists ---->

The Assassins’ were safe to follow their beliefs and their political killing pursuits so long as they could maintain their safe haven on top of the mountain. Yet, the longer they survived the more enemies they accumulated and the fewer adherents they were able to initiate into their fold.

It wasn’t the Crusaders, however, that managed to end their intrigues and their communistic way of life in their mountain stronghold. It was the Mongols who successfully managed that task in the mid-thirteenth century.

Under the Mongol warrior, Hulagu, the castles of the Assassins became prime targets in his campaign to conquer Iran and Iraq. The Mongols were masters in the art of siege warfare and in 1256 they took Alamut from the Sect. The last Grand Master was dispatched ignominiously, being kicked to death by the Mongol troops.
