Justice seems to be a government monopoly at least for about the last 400 yrs. Vigilantes aside. Or lynch mobs.
I certainly won't argue that a just cause should not override government dictate however, there was NOTHING just about the Slaver's Revolt or the system it sought to protect and expand. Government or no government.
