He wants to stay forever
Journal Site ^ | October 12th, 2003 | James Bredin

Prime Minister Chretien of Canada has been replaced as leader of the Liberal Party by Paul Martin.

Still Chretien is not leaving office till next year. He continues to travel the world at taxpayers' expense although he has visited almost every city in the world at least three times.

He wants to stay and stay

By

James Bredin

We have a situation now where he will not away,

Just clinging on with clasping fingers trying to stay and stay,

He’s still traveling the world as though nothing will ever change,

Someone should stop and tell him that it’s all been rearranged.

Those trained-seal Liberals of course deserve just what they get,

They allowed the ego to be leader so now he can’t forget,

No inquiry allowed into the missing billion dollars,

No conflict of interest in Shawinigan among those scholars.

If he wants to stay that bad at least we should ask him why,

How could the missing billion dollars disappear in the sky?

And the Shawinigan shenanigans; what happened there?

And what about those contracts in Quebec or should we even care?

Well, he hain't visited La Quinta yet...we get our "Salton Sea Stench" a few times a year, but I'm sure I could have told the difference.

"He Wants To Stay Forever"

When I read the headline, I assumed it was a story about Gray Davis.

Canada would benefit greatly from our system of strict term limits.

I thought it was about Robert Byrd!

I had a flashback
to all of those Bill Clinton
daily horror theads...

Remember? Clinton
was supposed to be ready
to do anything

to stay president...
Declare an emergency,
send congress packing...

What a hoser, aye?

Reminds me of Clinton.
He actually said all of Americas money belonged to the government, not the tax payers. He sure knew how to spend OUR money, that's for sure! He traveled for fun more than any American president on record.
WE also paid for the old battle ax and his winged spawn to surf around the world with him (Of course, he still cared for the poor, wiped away his tears, and bit his lip in guilt while flying around in presidential luxery - NOT!).
