McCorkle said the provision plays into Bowles strategy as well.

"It just gives Erskine more determination to raise the money," he said.

LOL! Good luck with that! He'll have a hard enough time matching the 6 mil he raised last race, much less raising an entire 13 mil without large personal contributions. That's rich. "Determination" - I love it!

Many contributors have already ditched Erskine for Burr, and a lot of people are convinced EB can't win. AND he'll have a serious primary to deal with.

This race is looking great for Republicans.

I got a letter from Burr today, saying his goal by the end of the quarter is $4 million raised (total to date) and naming Bowles, Blue, and Etheridge as likely opponents. Either Blue or Bobby would be stronger than Bowles so I'm glad he's running. The moderate Blue will again be underfunded and shunned by the liberal Rat establishment, which ain't gonna sit well with black voters. This has SO much positive potential it's not even funny!

And then there's the possibility that the primary will be pushed back to September again, leaving the Rat with no money and no unity after the primary.

ALL the rats over at (you know that evil forum) are certain Bowels will win and say "if only he had another month he'd have beaten Liddy." They're on the pipe.
