good screen name...I thought Rudy would run, seeing as the convention...this could all be disinformation. I think Rudy will be campaigning hard in '04, the only question is it all over the country, or is it only in NY against Schumer.

Perhaps Republicans are saving their strongest senate candidate for 2006 when Hillary runs for reelection. If I had to choose between knocking off Schumer or Clinton, I would prefer to knock off Clinton. Schumer could not possibly be a serious candidate at the national level while Clinton is a very likely candidate for president in 2008.
