"...the RAT Party Pelosi ...got planned fer the next few years is gonna do our work fer us..."Exactly! Minority Leader Pelosi will be the best thing that could happen to the GOP. The RATs will have difficulty hiding their leftist agenda and more and more "moderates" will be turned off by them.

One blessing of living in Lousiana is the joy of voting against Mary Landreau twice. I think it's looking positive to oust her. A nice thunderstorm in New Orleans would be nice.

From Suzie Terrell's website... May this repeat!
In the fall of 1999 Terrell entered a crowded field of candidates for elections commissioner. Against a competitive field of Democrats and Republicans, Terrell won the election in a run-off, ending a 40-year political dynasty and becoming the first Republican woman to hold a statewide office in the history of Louisiana. During the run-off Terrell garnered the support of every newspaper that endorsed a candidate and won every major demographic group - male and female, black and white, young and old- with her pledge to reform the department.

The RATs will have difficulty hiding their leftist agenda and more and more "moderates" will be turned off by them. Tell ya what I'd like to see is the demographics on the Dim turnout. What group(s) of the coalition of victims bailed on 'em if any? Did they maintain their base, i.e, queers, NOWsies, unionists, blacks, etc? Or, did the "swing" voters show 'em a shiny one this time. Would be instructional for future races. My hunch is the middle-of-the-roaders flocked to the Pubbies this time, and that group appears to be persistantly fickle.
If the Dim base remained loyal subjects to its masters, we can and should completely forget about ever appealing to that demographic; they'll never come around---there ain't a moderate in the bunch. Like I've said lotsa times before, that bunch of fence riders who are essentially noncombatants(uncommitted, nonaligned), will almost always carry the day for one party or the other---so, what turns 'em on??? We NEED to know. Another hunch; "W" and his political gurus already know, and fired for effect on Nov. 5.
Someone, more likely lotsa someones, will study this election to see what happened; I'm betting it will make for some interesting reading. I'm thinking the Dims have pooped in their mess kit and will behind the eight ball for years to come...praying they've pooped in their mess kit might be more accurate...
