We’re joined by Joe Gruters from the RNC to talk about the political landscape heading into 2026 and the challenges the party believes the country is facing. Gruters highlights what he sees as progress on affordability issues, praising the administration’s focus on lowering prices for everyday Americans while emphasizing that the effects of past economic policies take time to reverse. He also points to what he calls “world-class” cabinet leadership and insists that upcoming policy implementations will show measurable results.
The conversation shifts to midterm dynamics, with Gruters expressing confidence that Republican messaging—and what he describes as missteps by Democratic leaders—will energize voters. He frames corruption allegations in Minnesota as evidence of deeper systemic issues and calls for aggressive accountability. Finally, Gruters encourages grassroots engagement, emphasizing voter outreach, volunteer involvement, and preparation for the coming election cycle.

I’ve never heard of him.
Will he admit he doesn’t want the GOP to be in the majority?
The RNC has a Chair? This is the first I’ve heard of him. Guess he’s been busy hiding under it. And collecting paychecks.
“Will he admit he doesn’t want the GOP to be in the majority?”
**********
Situation normal, unfortunately. The GOP has never been comfortable with the concept of leading. They don’t seem to have any foundational or core principles and beliefs to motivate them into action. They don’t really like being in the majority IMO.
By contrast, Democrats absolutely crave power and they are not shy about pushing hard to implement their socialist agenda.
RINOs don’t want to lead - just complain as the minority and collect cash
Fire his ass!
actually he was pretty visible during fight for TN seat. perhaps he is more present on the ground at hot spots than on tv.
Good to know thanks.
They don’t have any “foundational or core principles and beliefs to motivate them into action. ”
Yeah …they have principals.
MTG will walk away next month after not voting or participating this month just waiting for her 5 year retirement to kick in
Having made tens of millions. He investments made $470+ % interest
That’s principals in my book. Greed
+1
Real inspiring fellow. /s
Gruters is a grifting dirtball. His response to Florida’s rising insurance premiums was to try and form an insurance company. Absolute garbage human being.
“Gruters, an accountant by trade, reportedly sent potential investors, including some fellow lawmakers, information on startup Village Protection Insurance, promising potential returns of 165% over five years, the Herald and the Tampa Bay Times”
reported.https://www.insurancejournal.com/news/southeast/2023/10/31/746340.htm
I get six or seven emails from various democrat fundraising sources, every day. None ever from the GOP. Just saying. Btw I never support any democrat, ever. No idea why they are sending me this spam, but imagine how much their supporters and undecideds are getting.
You all are onto something. Lara Trump was the most effective RNC Chair of late, but unfortunately she didn’t have any intention of staying on beyond helping the president win in 2024. The groundwork and infrastructure she oversaw helped Republicans across the board and prioritized things like voter integrity, poll watching, etc...Wish there would have been more viable replacement. That’s what’s lacking right now...
Look at the recent off year election. New York New Jersey Virginia
In NYC Sliwa said he hated Trump.rejected any help.
In Virginia, W Sears Lt governor for younkin. Trump helped him get elected From nowhere. The guy was losing. Trump tried to save Virginia. Sears says she doesn’t like Trump. Doesn’t want his help
In NJ, Ciattarelli finally asked Trump for help late into the campaign. The state likes Trump. He could have helped.
What was Lara Trump supposed to do with this?
The media says GOP and Trump and MAGA are linked. The GOP has a false view of its success. They win on coattails when Trump is in the race. GOP won’t admit they need Trump
Lara Trump knows this. What was she supposed to do? Replace herself? Hold interviews? Find someone who would get the GOP to win elections? That’s not what the GOP wants.
Facts!
And I don’t blame Lara for not staying on, just acknowledging her talent. Very underrated. She assembled quite the army of volunteers as well. Someone from among them would be more effective in taking the lead, like Scott Presler!
But you’re right…GOP not interested in giving credit to the Trumps, or taking notes.
Susie Wiles seems to be involved in mid-terms, putting POTUS back on the road. let’s not forget Lara was “installed” next to Whatley at RNC - perhaps we’ll see someone dropped in. i can’t believe that Lara doesn’t have valuable input re Gruters thus far.
