Marjorie Taylor Greene is leaving Congress, but not before one of the best investment runs ever by a sitting politician.
…Several outlets have reported a pre-Congress net worth of $700,000 — a figure that appears to refer only to her stock holdings. Her 2020 disclosure makes clear she was already a multi-millionaire before taking office.
…Greene will leave Congress in January with an estimated net worth of $25 million according to Quiver Quantitative (1). That’s a 33% increase in overall wealth — but the real story is in her stock portfolio, which has ballooned to an estimated $2.6 million to $4 million, up 476% since 2021.
5. AMD (NASDAQ: AMD): The AI chip play
Greene has been one of AMD's most consistent congressional buyers, purchasing shares of Advanced Micro Devices over a dozen times since 2021. In 2025 alone, she's made multiple purchases and the timing has paid off.
4. The big tech basket: Buying what she knows
Individual blockbusters aside, Greene has consistently accumulated shares in familiar tech giants: Adobe, Amazon, Alphabet, Apple/Microsoft/Meta.
Honorable mention: Bitcoin ETF (NASDAQ: IBIT)
3. Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA): A MAGA momentum play
Greene has been accumulating Tesla shares throughout 2024 and 2025…
2. Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR): Government contract goldmine
Greene purchased Palantir shares on April 7 and April 8, 2025, paying $77.32 and $92.01 per share respectively.
1. The tariff trades: 'Liberation Day' timing
On April 8-9, 2025, Greene disclosed buying between $21,000 and $315,000 worth of stocks in 17 companies — including Amazon, Apple, Nike, Tesla, Nvidia and Palantir according to a public disclosure. She also sold between $50,000 and $100,000 in Treasury bills at the same time.
Hours later, President Trump announced a 90-day pause on his sweeping "reciprocal tariffs." Markets soared. The stocks Greene had just purchased jumped immediately.

Moral of the story, buy stocks and hold stocks.
Well there you go again. That didn't take long.
aaaannnnd there you have it!
It’s Devine intervention.

LOL!!!
ROE massively greater than Wall Street firms.
MTGs father died giving her a inheritance which was a company and a house and stocks. She sold the stock and added them to her account. She now has a company to run. And she has a house. This not someone who was trading. This is someone who’s father died and left her an estate.
And, of course, almost every Democrat hasn't gotten rich by being in office.
The only truly honest members of Congress are the ones like Anna Paulina Luna, who is pushing to ban members of Congress from trading stock. Any Republican opposed to doing so needs to find other work.
“You might do as well as she does if you had access to the same inside information, and legislation.“

Most of the stuff they trade off from is publicly available through hearings and publications. The issue is that you and I do not have the resources to do that kind of research. They are briefed on this stuff every day by their staff and the staffs of the house.
Picking winners from contracts merely comes from knowing who bid on a contract and which contract is coming up. Again, public knowledge but inaccessible to most of us.
In the end, the deep inside stuff is what you would hear at the cocktail parties and junkets. But that would be just an incremental gain over what you could get with a couple million in research funds every year.
Please, you think a congressional member can’t inside trade? Please, they have far far more capacity to do it... all those rules and regulations go through congress... they are far more seated to capitalize on insider information that the executive.
I am not defending her, I am just saying she’d have to at least double what she’s done to even come close to what the Clintons and Obamas did with the net worths while in office.
None of those trades would have required any inside information. They were all pretty standard holdings over that time frame. I bet she held some Bitcoin before all of this.
As I’ve said MTG is your run of the mill Congressional Grifter, the irritating part is having people on the right side of the aisle who are really no better than the Liberals on the left.
The right keeps falling for frauds like MTG and then wonder why we never get anything done to advance a conservative agenda.
I’m reserving judgement, but at some point you have to start questioning people like Dan Bongino, Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, etc...it appears nothing is getting done, I’m hoping the type of prosecutions that need to happen simply take a long time to happen, I’m worrying that we are all being sold out by these people.
Most politicians are neither right nor left, they are actors, who play a role to get elected and get the riches that comes with being in politics.
