Work requirements are good for those kids. Paying them to be lazy sets them up for failure. Congress gets something right every once in awhile.

That does not prevent them from working. The BEST thing for a foster kid is a job as soon as possible. Too many times, the foster parents kick them out after the money stops (see the couple up the street from me). They need their own money to live. Money comes from work.

Peaceful snap recipients aren’t a crisis

Many should be helped, they aren’t all grifters.

And face it, there aren’t enough jobs for every citizen in the country to have one.

And AI is about to make that problem way worse.

People with jobs who will applaud raised work requirements, may find themselves without jobs soon , and find that there aren’t enough jobs . It’s not like the old USA where a person could find a job if they really wanted to. That USA got sold to the CCP.

Those snappers threatening to commit crime , or actually commiting crime, need to be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent.

"HEALTHY ADULTS being required to 'either work, look for work, volunteer or take classes 20 hours a week' seems very reasonable to me."

But, but the cost of narcotics has really skyrocketed since Trump started this crazy war against the dealers.. How are those poor children going to be able get their food AND their fix. And the dimocraps are going to be REALLY upset if they can't sell their drugs...

How is asking a healthy young person to do about 4 hours of work, school or volunteering a day ‘forcing them into homelessness’? A lot of people on SNAP work full time.

Age 18 is a legal adult. If able bodied, they need to work.
