I take what Leviticus 20:13: says as speaking of their judgment day with the Lord. It is not directing man to kill the person. Because the Lord commands that we shall not kill. Does the lord mean that we should not protect ourselves?
I pray that they turn away from their sinful act. I do not deceive by stating anything other than what I believe. I tell them that I do not approve of their sexual choices, but I also tell them that I will not judge them based solely upon their sexuality.
It's also a sin to sleep with a man/woman who is not their spouse, or to be intimate with anyone other than the spouse. So do you reject them as well?
In fact, all humans commit sins of varying degrees.
If I were to adopt your staunch view, I should reject every human on this planet, and so should you.
