It is SO EASY to just change the narrative to WHY IN THE HELL are abortions being used as birth control WHEN there are an ABUNDANCE of forms of birth control FREE to anyone who needs it, WHY are babies being killed in the womb, RIGHT BEFORE birth, when there is NO REASON for it TODAY!! Women back in the day did NOT HAVE all of these options available to them as they do today!!!

A likely reason is the mom broke up with the dad and didn’t want to be a single mom.

It's also about being unwilling to have a baby with birth defects. When a test comes back that the baby may have "issues", an abortion is scheduled.

As an example, we have fewer Down's Syndrome kids being born today, because most get aborted shortly after diagnosis. But the diagnosis may not happen until 2nd trimester or later.

Maybe it's because some women don't want to prepare for prevention with pills, condoms, etc. because it generates the self image of "I'm a slut." So, it's much easier to have the option of abortion IF they happen to spontaneously get into trouble. That said, it's a horrid and reprehensible act (if for convenience), but it should rightly be left to the states and the GOP would be better served keeping it from being a Federally mandated issue, either way.
