DeSantis previously stated that if Trump ran for reelection in 2024, he (DeSantis) would not run against Trump in the primaries. I specifically recall seeing a video of him stating such. I think it was about 6mos ago, possibly longer.
I also remember the same thing. However DeSantis can not go against the orders from his rich donor class, almost all of who consider Trump a thorn in their money making bonanza with cheap labor from abroad.
American Last is the motto of rich donor class.
One more reason to be baffled.
