I’d like to ask you a question if it is ok. What I find curious is the acceptance of Ron DeSantiss’ big money establishment donors and endorsements. Do you believe if he wins it all in 24 that he will govern according to his beliefs despite any agenda his donors have?

See I can’t accept the establishment endorsements and his big money donors. Can’t see them allowing him to run with anything other than their agenda.

First of all, the points made about his big money establishment donors is mostly hype made by the only Trumpers here at Free Republic.

Having said that, it WILL take big money establishment donors to suceed. Trump made it on his own in 2016 because he is a billionaire. But because he rejected the GOP-e, he lost (due to the Steal) in 2020 and again in 2022 when most of his endorsements lost.

Like it or not, the race in 2024 will be tied to the establishment and since Trump is facing a battle from Democrats, Republicans and DeSantis - he doesn't stand a chance.

All we can do is rely on DeSantis' excellant record as a conservative governor and hope for the best. We cannot afford to rely on Trump and his recent failures.

And thanks for asking a very reasonable question. I know my anwer will infuriate only Trumpers as they have and will continue to insult me as their only recourse.
