A Radical Plan for Trump's Second Term
Axios ^ | 7/22/2020 | Jonathan Swan

Posted on 07/22/2022 5:19:42 AM PDT by BuchananBrigadeTrumpFan

Former President Trump’s top allies are preparing to radically reshape the federal government if he is re-elected, purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his "America First” ideology, people involved in the discussions tell Axios.

The impact could go well beyond typical conservative targets such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service. Trump allies are working on plans that would potentially strip layers at the Justice Department — including the FBI, and reaching into national security, intelligence, the State Department and the Pentagon, sources close to the former president say.

No government retiree should earn more than $50k/yr. I’t take it down to $30k.

That would include a big chunk of the military retirees.

I have hope that with Trumps re-election he tears the whole place down.

Armed with much more knowledge and more importantly with TIME. His wrecking ball could be quite a show.

Military retirees are young. Only the generals would be affected. They’re political. Everyone else up to a full bird is a follower. Ok-so exclude them but $50/k isn’t chump change.

I have said for several years Trump should fire every three and four star officer in the military, disband the FBI and fire every employee in the Executive branch hired by either Biden or Obama. This article gives me great hope.

The premise of this article is that they’ll actually replace those that they cull. I think the idea is to give the Executive Branch the enema it so desperately needs.

Show citizens how their Fed bureaucracies actually work. Move each dept from one city to the next, every year. Like a traveling circus.
Don’t wanna move from Dc to......SantaFe? Tough. Mebbe you will find a job at CNN. Next year, Bismark.

Cull the herd by moving the pasture. Every year for each year.

A pretty good article, aside from the obligatory snark. Well sourced and deeply researched.

Trump’s biggest impediment was Mitch. Senate confirmation was weilded like a club against the MAGA King.

It will still be an issue. We really need to get rid of the guy. When is the next primary?

Finally! So gladto hear Trump learned his lesson from the treachery of theswamp in his first term. He needs to clean house in the military and clown agencies as well.

Yes and spread out all over the continent and Alaska. In the ugliest and most boring places so that people go to do their duty not try to be part of some glittering social scene. But just totally disband most agencies.

Eliminate lobbying. Elected officials should represent constituents not lobbyists.
